Cassie–and next week, Delilah–are my guinea pigs for a new blog feature. I’d like to help boost the signal for new authors, and get back into making one-off comics. So if you’re a novelist with your first published book coming out, consider e-mailing me an idea for a three-panel comic, a summary (back-cover style) of your book, and the date your book will hit shelves. If I have time and I think I can pull it off, I’ll draw you a comic like this. My goal is to post the comic the day before your launch, but I can’t promise it’ll work out that way, because I’m an irresponsible sack of grasshoppers. If I do finish a comic based on your book, you may repost and print the image as many times and places as you like, for free, as long as you seek and receive permission before altering it.
